Continuity/Succession

Your Final Test for Success

In most family-owned businesses neither the value of family first nor business first is the basis for answers to policy making, decision-making or setting direction. Families typically find that a more balanced approach is best for the long-term interests of both the business and the family. Achieving balance requires the overlapping relationship between the family and the business be managed, not left to chance. This seminar will provide participants with a greater understanding of the three-circle concept (family, business, ownership), why the three common reasons for failure are family based and thoroughly explain the seven overlapping areas within the circles and how they can produce positive energy.

Highlights Include:

Intended for:

Family members active in the business to include mother, dad, sons, daughters, in-laws, aunts, uncles and key non-family managers.

Duration:

This program is designed for an optimal time of 3 hours.  We can do two 90-minute programs back-to-back one as a continuation of the other.

The "Fit":

Relatives who work together in a private company have a desire to understand the dynamics taking place on a daily basis.  They desire a more hands-on approach versus the psychological process.  This program gives the participants down to earth information and hands-on examples and role-playing so they come to fully understand the difference between business attitudes and family attitudes.  It will give them the information that will clearly arm them with the tools they need to pass what could be their Final Test for Success in the family business.
